Now that the repaving and restriping of McLaughlin Run Road is complete, borough council has clarified the rules for parking along that stretch of road.
Council voted 7-0 to allow parking from 1014 McLaughlin Run Road to 200 feet before Coolidge Street—in other words, the part of the road where PennDOT included a parking lane. Parking is not permitted on other parts of the road in Bridgeville.
Previously, the parking ordinance governing McLaughlin was “convoluted” and “kind of choppy,” said councilman William Henderson, who heads the public safety committee.
