Bridgeville will be busy with road work during the next few days. Here’s a rundown of what’s happening:

Bower Hill Road Railroad Crossing

On Thursday, June 2, traffic will be limited to one lane from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the railroad crossing on Bower Hill Road while the railroad makes a temporary repair. During the repair, the condition of the crossing will be reviewed to determine how and when to proceed with a permanent repair.

Dewey Avenue Lane Restriction

On Thursday, June 2,  Dewey Avenue will be restricted to one lane from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. while a contractor for Pennsylvania-American Water replaces the temporary patch with final paving.

Washington Avenue Cement Work

Beginning Friday, June 3, at 6 p.m. and continuing through 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, PennDOT plans to finish repairing the cement at the intersection of Washington Avenue and Bower Hill Road. Expect delays if driving through this intersection, or avoid it altogether, if possible.

McLaughlin Run Road Repaving

The repaving of McLaughlin Run Road in Bridgeville continues nightly. The work in Bridgeville may be completed next week as the project moves into Upper Saint Clair.
