This past weekend Bridgeville’s 125th Anniversary Celebration kicked off with a parade, a 5K race, a 1920s-themed dance, and a ecumenical service.
The celebration gets even bigger starting Monday, July 20, when Commercial Street turns into concert venue for two different rocks bands, joined by food trucks, family activities, and a contest that can only be called The Great Bridgeville Bake-Off.
Monday is just the start — each day between now and Saturday will see more musicians, more contests, and more food vendors.
By Wednesday, you’ll be able to listen to go to a carnival, listen to live acoustic rock polka, while also getting a free Dari-Delite ice cream cone just before you find out which area resident cant eat the most pie without using their hands.
