What do you get when a beloved borough turns 125 in the same year America turns 250? One seriously good week. The Bridgeville Community Association (BCA) has put together a celebration worthy of the milestone, with events running July 18 through 26, 2026 — something for everyone, all in the community we call home.
The BB Vibe 5K Run/Walk — Saturday, July 18
Lace up and join us for the very first Bridgeville Borough 5K, kicking off celebration week in the best possible way — together. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or someone who just wants to be part of something memorable, the BB Vibe 5K has a spot for you. This race is less about pace and more about community pride — a moving celebration of 125 years of Bridgeville spirit.
Full details and registration coming soon to this website.
Roaring 20s Dinner & Costume Dance — Saturday, July 18
Here’s a piece of Bridgeville history worth reviving: during Prohibition, our borough had its own hidden speakeasies — and they never once slowed the party down. In that grand tradition, we’re bringing back the glamour of the 1920s for a Roaring 20s Dinner and Costume Dance on Saturday, July 18 at the Chartiers Room, Bridgeville Fire Hall. Doors open at 5 ppm. Pull out your best flapper dress or dapper suit, because there are costume prizes for the best-dressed guests.
Tickets are $50 and available at the Bridgeville Borough Building or the Historical Society.
Ecumenical Service — Sunday, July 19
On Sunday, July 19 at 2 p.m., local religious leaders will gather at Bridgeville’s Triangle Park for a special ecumenical service — a peaceful moment of reflection, worship, and togetherness in the middle of a festive week. Local music and inspiring messages will set the tone, and a food vendor will be on hand so neighbors can linger, connect, and enjoy the afternoon.
No tickets required — just stop by!
The Carnival — July 21–25, 5-10 p.m.
Five nights. Rides, bands, food, and fun. The BCA carnival rolls into the Avenue at the corner of Brookfield Street — in the Fleet Depot Parking Lot just before the train trestle near Prestley Road — from July 21 through 25, each evening from 5-10 p.m. A dining area packed with food trucks will keep everyone fueled, while a stage for children’s activities and live entertainment keeps the whole family busy. This is the heart of the week, and it’s going to be a fun one.
Adult Comedy Show — Friday, July 24
After a great meal at the carnival, cap off Friday night with some well-earned laughs. The adult Comedy Show on July 24 begins at 7:30 pm.
Ticket sales will be announced soon.
Bridgeville 125 Co-Ed Softball Tournament — July 25–26
Whether you’re stepping onto the field or cheering from the bleachers, the Bridgeville 125 Adult Co-Ed Softball Tournament promises two of the most fun-filled days of the celebration. Up to eight co-ed adult teams will compete on the Large Field at Chartiers Park, July 25 and 26, with a full tournament schedule, blind draw seeding, and a championship round to crown the winners. Unique rules keep the game moving and the energy high, while spectators enjoy food, drinks, and family-friendly activities on the sidelines.

Anniversary Parade

On Saturday, July 25, the BCA will host a community parade featuring floats, local groups, and all the hometown fanfare the occasion deserves. If you or your organization is interested in building a float and joining the procession, we’d love to have you — reach out at 125@bridgeville.us.
