No Questions Asked: Drop Off Your Unused Prescription Drugs at the Bridgeville Police Station

For many reasons, it’s a bad idea to keep unused prescription drugs around the house.

The Bridgeville police station has a “drug take back” box where residents can dispose of unused medications.

As part of the state-funded program’s rules, nobody will ask you questions about what you’re dropping off or where it came from.

Throughout the year, the contents of Bridgeville’s box — and others like it throughout the state — are destroyed by the Pennsylvania National Guard.

Last year, the Bridgeville police department’s box filled up so quickly, that it was unavailable for a brief period. Statewide, more than 100 tons of prescription drugs were reportedly destroyed through the program.
