
The upcoming primary election will be a formality for the six candidates running for Bridgeville Borough Council.
Three people from each party are running for three council seats. Unless an independent or third-party candidate jumps into the election this fall, the ballot will look like this:
DEMOCRATS
- Nino Petrocelli Sr. – Longtime councilmember and retired Bridgeville business owner.
- Joseph Colosimo – Current councilmember.
- Nicholas Ciesielski – Newcomer to Bridgeville politics who manages Railyard Grill & Taproom.
REPUBLICANS
- Joel Lakus – Owner of Bridgeville-based Lakus Painting.
- Devlin Robinson – Iraq War veteran who owns a medical supply company.
- Mike Tolmer – Current council president, sales manager for an industrial supply firm.
Councilmembers serve four-year terms.
CHARTIERS VALLEY SCHOOL BOARD
The CV school board race will be equally uneventful.
The five incumbents up for re-election are all running unopposed. They are:

- Darren Mariano
- Jeff Choura
