Bridgeville’s New Garbage Company Is Showing Signs of Improvement

February 28, 2019 By Tim McNellie

It’s been a rocky ride, but Bridgeville’s new garbage collection company is showing signs of improvement, according to borough officials.

Last week, workers from County Hauling reached a new high mark for houses not missed, said borough manager Lori Collins.

There is still room for improvement, however, and Collins hopes that residents having problems will call the borough at 412-221-6012 or email her personally at lcollins@bridgevilleboro.com.

During the past few weeks, County Hauling’s management has responded positively to feedback from the borough, Collins said.

“With items of concern sent this week, I will continue to monitor their progress,” Collins said.

On Friday, some Bridgeville.org Facebook readers shared stories of trash cans missed, garbage strewn on lawns and streets.
