MINUTES

A motion of the Borough Council regarding the minutes of the March 13, 2017 regular meeting as submitted.

2017 PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE PROGRAM

Bids were advertised and publicly opened on Friday April 7, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers for the 2017 Pavement Maintenance Program with the following bid results:

A motion of the Borough Council regarding the award of the bid to the lowest responsible bidder Youngblood Paving in the amount of $151,737.50 contingent upon review of all required documentation by Engineer Sites. Remarks: $74,966.25 will be reimbursed through a project share agreement with the Pennsylvania American Water Company.

ORDINANCE NO. 995

A motion of the Borough Council regarding Ordinance No. 995; an ordinance amending Chapter 16 Parks and Recreation, Part 2, Park Rules & Regulations, §203, Prohibited Conduct, to prohibit smoking of tobacco and use of electronic nicotine device (E-Cigarettes) in Borough Public Parks. Remarks: The ordinance has been duly advertised.

PROPOSED ORDINANCE NO. 996

A motion of the Borough Council authorizing Manager Collins to advertise Proposed Ordinance No. 996; an ordinance authorizing the execution of an Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement with other local municipalities establishing the “Robinson Run-Chartiers Creek Municipal Watershed Alliance” and providing for the governance thereof. Remarks: Mt. Pleasant Township, McDonald Borough, North Fayette Township, Oakdale Borough, Bridgeville Borough, Robinson Township and South Fayette Township are the initial municipalities that will make up the Alliance.
