The borough is stepping up its efforts to collect nearly $116,000 in unpaid real estate taxes from around town.
“We’re going to start making some phone calls, sending letters, and taking some action,” councilman Joseph Verduci said earlier this month.
The borough has sent some taxpayers final collection notices with the option of payment arrangement. If those property owners don’t send a response, Bridgeville will file a claim with the magistrate, said borough manager Lori Collins.
