The public works department earned some rave reviews from council for keeping Bridgeville’s roads safe and drivable during this winter’s snowfalls.
When the region was hit with six inches of snow on Feb. 8, Council president Mike Tolmer saw clear evidence of public works’ efforts to keep the roads drivable.
“I was out in Pittsburgh, and it was a mess,” he said. “I got to Bridgeville and it was clean.”
Bruce Ghelarducci, who heads the public works committee, said of the public works department, “They’re second to none at this point.”
