Join the Bridgeville Area Lions Club At Its Charter Night Celebration on Jan. 12

Founded just four months ago, the Greater Bridgeville Area Lions Club has grown to 27 members and has given support to nonprofits like 412 Food Rescue and the VFW. They have also been raising money to purchase defibrillators for the Bridgeville Police Department and to help provide carbon monoxide detectors to area residents.

On Thursday, Jan. 12, the Lions host a Charter Night Celebration at the Alpine Hunting and Fishing Club in South Fayette.

Cost is $29 per person. Cocktail hour begins at 6 p.m., followed by a dinner buffet and several speakers.

To make your reservation, make your check payable to Bridgeville Greater Area Lion’s Club and mail to First National Bank, Attn: Joe Meliton, 1029 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, PA 15017. Deadline to reserve is Monday, Jan. 9.

If you can questions, call Dan Hupp at 412-551-6436.

Lions Clubs are volunteer service organizations dedicated to helping and improving their immediate communities. They are perhaps best known for their efforts to preserve eyesight and address preventable blindness.
