Chartiers Valley Raises Taxes, Still Has Lowest Tax Rate In Allegheny County

The Chartiers Valley School Board approved the district’s first tax hike in six years on Tuesday night. The .3892 mill increase means an additional $38.92 in taxes for every $100,000 of your property’s value. Some of Bridgville’s fire hydrants have become camouflaged by the grass, weeds, and shrubs growing around them. That’s obviously not an good situation for firefighters who might respond to calls in those areas.
