SouthBridge EMS recently received a $90,000 grant to help purchase new heart monitors for its ambulances.

“We’re in the process of getting four fully loaded, top-end heart monitors,” said Dan Miller, SouthBridge operations manager. “We hope to purchase them soon.”

The funds come from a Federal Emergency Management Agency grant fund for fire departments and other safety organizations.
