PennDOT is announcing work to improve McLaughlin Run Road (Route 3004) in Bridgeville Borough and Upper St. Clair Township, Allegheny County, will begin Tuesday, May 24 weather permitting.

Crews from A. Folino Construction will conduct milling and paving, drainage improvements, base repairs, guide rail updates and line painting activities on McLaughlin Run Road between Bower Hill Road and Washington Road (Route 19).

Single-lane alternating traffic will occur weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. as crews conduct the work. Flaggers will assist motorists through the work zone. The project is expected to conclude early September of 2016.

Motorists should be prepared for changing traffic patterns. Please slow down and drive safely through the work zone. Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
