Chartiers Valley School Board approved $78 million in construction bids last week to begin upgrading its middle school and high school facilities.
The Tribune-Review’s Jim Spezialetti has more details about where the money is going and how much the entire project will eventually cost.
To frame that price tag another way: $78 million is about what the Steelers will spend on player salaries during the first eight games this upcoming season.
For that money, Chartiers Valley gets a dramatically improved learning facility.
(Even if it does look just like the school from Star Trek).
