Bridgeville’s 2016 summer road paving program will cost a little less than officials originally anticipated.
Last week, borough council awarded the job to Alex E. Paris Contracting at a cost of $191,280. That’s about $7,000 less than the borough’s estimate.
The streets included in the 2016 paving program are:
- Harding Street from Lesnett Road to Terminus
- Forbes Street from Harding Street to Coolidge Street
- Union Street from Bower Hill/Bluff Intersection to Terrace Street.
Pennsylvania-America Water Company will pay 50% of the cost for the Harding Street and Forbes Street parts of the project—about $50,237.
