Bridgeville may authorize the conversion of 400 streetlights to use LED fixtures that cast a whiter light and use less energy that the borough’s current lamps. The switch could save the borough $26,000 per year in lighting costs.
Council is expected to vote on the matter at the Monday, March 14 meeting, which starts at 7 p.m.
Also on the agenda is a parking expansion at Bank Street Extension. Council will vote on whether to authorize the addition of six new spaces in borough parking lot #2.
