The Bridgeville farmers market has been discontinued.
After five years, there just weren’t enough customers in 2015 to make it worthwhile for the vendors to return for another year, market organizer Liz Calabro told council two weeks ago.
However, if you have ideas to make the market succeed in the future, you could step in as the new organizer.
“It’s a volunteer position,” Calabro said. “Everything is still in place in case somebody else wants to take the task on. There’s no investment for next year—we have everything in place for next year. ”
