On March 3, a 48-year-old Bridgeville man contacted police and said that he wanted to be arrested for being drunk. It was 4 p.m. When he wasn’t jailed fast enough for his liking, the man said, “What do I have to do, punch you officers to be arrested?” He was then arrested and lodged in jail until sober. In a police report, officers noted that he was “highly intoxicated” and had been involved in disturbances earlier in the day.
