Want to Serve on the Parking Authority? How About the Planning Commision?

Don’t feel bad if you didn’t know that there are about to be a few openings on Bridgeville’s planning commission, parking authority, and zoning board.

How would you know? The borough wasn’t advertising the openings, at least not the ones where the person currently serving planned to seek reappointment.

Councilman Neil Lyons is not happy about that, according to the Tribune-Review. After reviewing the list of candidates for the openings, he said, “If someone is better for a position they should be able to have the opportunity to go after it.”

As a result, council extended the deadline for applications. If you’re interested in one of the openings, contact the borough at 412-221-6012.
